if you won your class at a national event....or an eliminator...there was/is a worker from the sanctioning body with paperwork for each car, checking off the displayed stickers, and products claimed by the racer....a release usually has to be signed from/for each paying sponsor, releasing the right to use your name in advertising their product, when remitting payment after the race...most used to pay pretty quickly...within 2-4 weeks...
