that thought crossed my mind when I saw Booth's car TM...alotta racers went to the "weaker" divisions back then for "easy" points towards the season title...remember wayne gapp wore 51 for a season or 2 in the early/mid-70' s...pickin' cherries....

Nice photos that beg the question.... ... what were Wally Booth and Irv Beringhaus doing so far from home? Too far back for me to remember the national event schedule, but I'm thinking there was a there must have been one in the vicinity to attract them.
