here's a quick story about the paint job in the picture.
this car was a gourgeous candy green over a gold base. it had two white stripes with "green" flip-flop pearl paint over top of the white.
The year before this pic was taken.... we broke an axle and the wheel came off and ripped half the quarter panel off... we had to repair it and decided to paint some "ugly" stripes on it to cover up the body repairs.
that's how the "ugly" stripes got on the car.
