those pics reminded me this was about the time GK started to disappear...
even for stockers...most of 'em were either GK or Lunati back then...I'd say @ 90% of the Detroit area stockers ran GK cams...

One of my former employees, Dickie Moreland, now has his own crankshaft manufacturing business and went to the Super Flow Engine Builders conference with my high school classmate, Charlie Reichard of Camacraft. I think it was while they were in Colorado Springs they heard the story about Don Toulis ( General Kinetics).
Don worked for Ford or Rousch, I can't remember which, and he used their computers to design his cams before leaving to start his company. The photo that was inside the front cover of his catalog showed him in a white lab coat standing in front of a large bank of computers giving the impression they were his. Truth is, they belonged to his old employer.
The photo must have made a good impression on prospective General Kinetics customers.
