Does anyone know exactly what component is causing the failures this recall
addresses?. Heard one report just say a 'relay". Particularly interested in
the Tiida range.
Many thanks
John

assuming it is not a vibration problem, it is likely that you have a
loose
electrical connection in the circuit, which causes intermittent higher
current to pass through the bulb. check for loose connections which
hold the bulb and possibly a poor ground. at worst, there may be a
poor connection at some location between the hot side of the bulb
and the power source, maybe bad contacts in the door switch, or
even corroded connectors somewhere.

Ditto.

If he's in Brisbane and can't use his ballot envelope, how the hell
did he vote two weeks ago?

God help us all if we ever get to vote online.

Would that be any worse than becoming president without a birth
certificate?
