Guys, The 1975 U.S. Nationals shows a Jerome Pratt running a 69 AMX in SS/C. I thought that once when talking to Joe DeSantis, he mentioned that a guy named Pratt who had a speed shop near or in Columbiana, OH bought the Beachy AMX --not sure. thanks for the reply. This car is an "unknown" in the Super Sock AMX ranks. It has been around awhile and had a lot of factory correct parts. these parts were sold to the current owner of Nat Thompson's AMX-1 (You can see the hood in a background photo www.amx-1.com) . I would love to know the VIN of the car to corroborate if it is a real hurst car or not. if the dash is gone the last 7 numbers are stamped on the frame rail behind the steering box.

Tom,
I have been reading through your thread with great interest. I've always liked these cars. The Pratt/Souder car is local to me. Chuck runs that car on a regular basis at Quaker City. If you do not get any info beforehand, when the season rolls around, I will gladly check it out for you. The stickers on the front bumper in the two pics you show are different. The sticker in the recent pic is a "Drag News Bracket All-Stars Dart Kill Sticker." It may be running a 440 Chrysler now. I know there is/was a white AMX that showed up at Quaker often running this combo.
