I know no one wants to see a picture of me, but while going through a box in my basement I found these pictures taken by my father. I was 16 years old in 1974 and at the 74' NHRA Springnationals both my dad and I took a camera. I had the 35mm Canon that dad bought in 1973 and he had a camera that he borrowed from the City of South Bend, he took traffic accident photos for the city as a policeman. As I walked the pits taking pictures of race cars he followed me and took pictures of me taking pictures. At the time I thought it was lame and was almost embarrassed that he took those pictures, but years later and a father myself, I realize how special those photos are. I now have pictures of me capturing those images that now mean so much to me. He isn't a member of any of these groups but I'd like to thank him for being a great father, he didn't have to take me to the races but he did. Thanks Dad, Tom
