2011 Suzuki Kizashi

2011 Suzuki Kizashi
Suzuki announced today that it will debut the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport production version at this year's New York Auto Show. The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport is offered with the GTS and SLS trim levels and will go on sale this August. The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport price will be announced closer to its on sale date. The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport offers various styling options including a new front fascia with chrome accents, side sill extensions, lower body side molding with chrome accents and a trunk mounted spoiler. The 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport sits on 18-inch alloy wheels and has a 10 mm lowered ride height.

Powering Kizashis on both sides of the border will be a 2.4-litre four-cylinder. The choice of CVT chops 5 hp from the 185 hp the U.S six-speeders get, but that's still more than in four-cylinder Altimas, Camrys or base Accords. Like any CVT-equipped car, initial acceleration in the Kizashi can seem sluggish. But its relatively light 1,560 kg curb weight helps it scoot from zero to 100 km/h in just under eight seconds. U.S. estimates have the Kizashi CVT rated at 10 L/100 km in the city (28 mpg) and 7.6 L/100 km on the highway (37 mpg).

2011 Hyundai Sonata

 2011 Hyundai Sonata
The Hyundai Sonata gains all new styling, new engines, and a thorough re-working nose to tail for the latest model year. The result is Hyundai's most competitive Camry-Accord-Malibu-Fusion fighter yet. Styled at Hyundai's Irvine, California, studio, the Sonata is a fresh design that takes a few subtle cues from the Subaru Legacy and Volkswagen CC. Slightly larger than the existing Sonata, the new car feels substantially roomier inside. Special attention has been paid to materials and design, which is substantially more upmarket than before.

Swoopy was the word we most often used to describe Hyundai's newest sedan during our testing. Starting with its huge chrome grill, the sculpted sheet metal of the Sonata flows backward towards its tail, giving the sedan the appearance of motion even when stopped. This aesthetic is reinforced by the elongated, rear-swept headlamps and a chrome bar that visually connects them to the top of the door sills. Onlookers stated that it was unlike anything they'd seen before.

2011 Renault Sandero
The Renault Sandero is developed with the South American market in mind. The Renault Sandero will be built in Brazil in Curitiba and will be in showrooms from December 2007. The Renault Sandero will be powered by petrol and diesel engines and for the Brazilian market FlexFuel engines that burn biofuels will also be available. The Sandero is an entry-level, compact five-door hatchback from Renault, introduced to the region in 2010.

The French company claims it offers a combination of comfort and space with a competitive price – it's available with a starting price of 39,500AED in the UAE at the time of writing. As befits the price, it's rather low on specification. But it will seat five and is powered by a 1.6-litre engine that comes in two states of tune. The 320-litre capacity boot can be extended to 1,200 litres by folding down the rear seats.

The Charming 2010 Nissan Micra

The more charming – if that's even possible – Nissan Micra has been tweaked to bring smiles to consumers in 160 countries where it will go on sale. To keep them smiling once things get under way, a brand new 1.2-liter, supercharged three-cylinder gas engine gets down with 80 horsepower and 144 pound-feet.

Believe it or not, the bounty doesn't stop there, with a suspension combining "agility, refinement and poise" also included as standard equipment. We'll let most readers decide for themselves.
