Posted: 24 Sep 2010 12:14 AM PDT What a great car to have over the weekend. We had family in town to go to a baseball game and packed the back seat. Everyone was comfy in the buttery leather seats, feeling fresh with the great ventilation and entertained with the great sound system. The V12 is amazing and allowed for incredible flights down the expressway and made passing a breeze. And the solid brakes brought everything to halt with ease. The large trunk swallowed up groceries one night and jackets, hats, ponchos and more for the ball game. The navigation screen was big and clear and was very helpful when backing out of tight spots. On Sunday, with just two people in the car, we lowered the windows and opened the sunroof and enjoyed a beautiful summer day. 2010 BMW 760Li Base Price: $139,975 As-Tested Price: $155,475 Drivetrain: 6.0-liter turbocharged V12; RWD, eight-speed automatic Output: 535 hp @ 5,250-6,000 rpm, 550 lb-ft @ 1,500-5,000 rpm Curb Weight: 5,026 lb Fuel Economy (EPA/AW): 15/16.7 mpg Options: BMW individual composition including Alcantara headliner, BMW individual rear badge, 20-inch wheels with performance tires, shadowline exterior trim, individual door sill finishers ($6,500); nightvision with pedestrian detector ($2,600); active cruise control ($2,400); rear seat entertainment package ($2,200); moonstone metallic paint ($1,800) source : autoweek.com |
