It's one main reason I love going to outdoor type festival shows.... there's a great chance to catch some good pics during daylight !
I'm not that good at "Night shots" !! I have to take one heck of alot of pictures to get a few good ones. which really sucks cause I miss some GOOD pictures cause they move too fast and the picture is just a blur , so I have to delete it and hope the next one takes!
The Ted Nugent show was great cause it was light for so long!
And being The Rib America Festival we were allowed to take in cameras. Unlike when you go to a stadium show or arena and they frisk you down for banned items like cameras and video equipment. But at the ribfest they just didn't want anyone with proffesional cameras or video.
A kid that was using his phone to take video was told by security to stop........
Stupid , stupid kid !!! thought the security guy was bluffing ! hehe
Security at concerts....
Two years and I only had the chance to meet three Bands during that time.
Tom Petty , Paul McCartney and Foghat
Being a Beatles fan that was my highlight ! but the security that was onsite was "NOT" to bring any meat products onsite due to Paul Being a vegitarian. And we got pulled together and he talked with us for about 15 minutes , explaining what he expected.
Then we ate salad !!!
Sure glad we stopped at McDonalds before we got there!

They are done for this year , but it will be coming around again next year. Not sure how close to you it comes but it's a good weekend for me and the wife !! usually 3-4 bands play each day and it lasts 3-4 day's depending where they are. just check out thier website for info.
