[NASCAR-Group] Re: Just out of curiosity , Where's everybody hail from ?

It's a pleasure , glad to make your aquaintance !
Nothing wrong with the #2 Miller Lite car , and I actually don't mind Kurt Busch now-a-day's . He used to be snotty and self centered at first but I've seen alot of growing up in him and he's got alot more personality now than he did! Never cared much for "WHINING WALLACE" though.....but I did like "Midnight" #2 car when it was Miller.
Yeah.....I like some cars even though I don't like the drivers , a bit wierd but it's from rooting for them years ago!!!
Anyway's , I know whatcha mean.... as far as my "Better Half" she didn't like Nascar when we got together either ( been 10 yrs now) but she came around when "SMOKE" came on the track . since she's from Columbus too , so that's her primary driver but she's come around to my way of thinking and likes my picks as well. No kids here except for the pet cat that's got the run of the place!
I've been going to the Brickyard since the beginning except when work get's in the way . Only missed 5 races up there to date, haven't been to any other tracks but I'd love to see Martinsville and Daytona's race someday.I did get to go see the track down at Daytona when I was down there years ago but not at race time.
As for the Brickyard race we opted not to be "season" ticket holders and just get our seats online at the beginning of the year from IMS website. Generally we pick seats right down front row behind the pits....close to gasoline alley. Sometime soon I'll post a pic or two of us at the track. she was disappointed we didn't get to go this year , but it's not the last year ! I love the atmosphere !! we go up on Thursday early morning to get our campsite and stay through Monday morning (supposed to leave Sun. night but they don't push anyone out). A good time ! watching everything come in.... from the caravan of fans in mobile homes and campers to all the corperate trailers and drivers rigs . It's almost impossible to do all we want due to the time......but we do what we can ! hehe
I'm a small town country boy at heart and can't imagine living in Indy 24/7 let alone any huge cities like yours. I guess I like the best of both worlds , live in a small town surrounded by farmland and tree covered hills ....... but close enough to Indy that it only takes me 30-45 minute drive if there's a concert or the race or anything else special we'd like to go see up there.

Mercy.......gotta get off here! see if anyone else replied while spilling my story.
Later!

Pretty nice area with rolling hills and some of the friendliest people I've ever come in contact with. Done a bit of traveling when I was 19-25 yrs old (45 now). been all along the east coast from Vermont , Conneticut and Maine all the way down as far as Miami and the Florida keys....around the gulf coast states as far as Corpus Cristy, TX and back up towards Kansas , Missouri and Wisconsin. Basically been to most states in that huge circle !
