[NASCAR-Group] Re:Garden of Good and Evil

I don't recall having seen that one . And as I said , I'm a beatles fan so I've watched thier movies. Liked the Blue Meanies in Yellow Submarine. But even though I like the Beatles I have to admit.....Not really a fan of thier "ACTING" ability and thier movies fell kinda short to me.....some were too corny. Like watching The Monkey's which I loved thier series as a kid and liked some of thier music....but watching it now would be too corny for me.
Haven't seen The Song Remains the Same, and Stop Making Sense with the Talking Heads.Although I like some of Zepplins Music most of thier music was a different style for me and it didn't catch on.
Like Jimmy Hendricks , I liked some but not enough to consider myself a fan.And thier are others that I may like a few of thier songs but not the rest. Burning Down The House from The Talking Heads was good , but alot of thier music to me bordered to close to the New Wave sound.
Foreigner ,Boston ,Reo Speedwagon , Tom Petty , Fleetwood Mac / Stevie Nicks , Heart , ELO , Chicago , Ac/Dc , Van Halen w D.L.Roth ,
The Eagles , Beach Boys (early stuff ) , John Couger Mellencamp (Before he became a political POP singer) , C.C.R , C.S.N.Y. , Pat Benatar , Joan Jett & Black Hearts , Styx , Skynyrd ,Marshall Tucker , Little Feat , Charlie Daniels Band , Journey ....... see the pattern .
Alot of Good sounding old Motown with the Tempations at the top of the list!
And having lived here all my life I also got into Bluegrass music...with Bill Monroe having lived just East of here he had the Bill Monroe Bluegrass Festival every year over at his place in Bean Blossom ,Indiana . Usually 3-4 day's of some of the best bluegrass preformers in the country. It's really cool how the preformers would be everywhere and just sortof have "Pick-up" jams with anybody they would pass that were playing at the time. One would come walking up and start playing and one would take a break for awhile and walk around listening and playing with some others in another area.
Fiddle , Mandolin and Guitar is my preffered combo to listen too...
Here's a few upbeat bluegrass tunes I like...
If ya care to listen...(hope I did this right)

My favorite Fiddle player:

You want to watch a good movie, check out "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".. it was directed by Clint Eastwood, and is one of the best movies ever... and it's based on a real freakin story too. It takes place in Savannah Georgia, and uses some of the actual people that were involved with what happened.

Then as I mentioned to Dawn, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Wall. I loved Tommy, and if you didn't love Tina Turner's 'acid queen' in that one, wow.. you missed out. I also liked "Yellow Submarine", but because mostly of it's place in rock history.
