It sounds like you may have gotten a type of malware that will pop-up
a message saying you're infected, click here to clean your computer.
Of course, the infection IS the pop-up. The first thing this virus
does is take down your anti-virus software; AVG, Norton, McAfee, etc.
The only way I have been able to get rid of it for customers is going
back to a good restore point. If none exists, bad news, it's format
and start all over again. Every morning, before doing anything else on
your computer, I highly recommend making a manual restore point. That
is making one yourself rather than relying on the windows generated
system check points alone.
Regarding the gutter toppers, seems to me like the leaves and debris
would slide down and cover the mesh-like holes or grid and clog it up.
And, it doesn't seem like the mesh/grid would allow for very much
water flow volume. I guess they would be okay in a light rain, but a
light rain isn't going to wash any leaves and debris into your gutters
anyway. LOL Maybe someone else could speak for them, but it doesn't
look like something I would be interested in.
