Truthfully ? Not sure. I do remember a Willys gasser that had the same name, but that could be the only link between the two.

Is this the guy that used to run a '40 Willys - I think - of the same name ?

It might have had a roof chop too, or the last bit could just be a bad memory playing tricks !

Tom, I have asked you before about a drag racer named Paul Day that has passed on and you told me you did not know when he died, I noticed so far that you are the only person showing pictures from Edgewater Park Dragway so my question this time is do you know anyone who went to that track in the early 70's that might have known him. He raced a Vega Funny Car, if you want to send me your email I can send you a photo of it, I posted a blog last nite asking for info, and the guy who owns the track is in Myrtle Beach all winter, so I hope you know someone that can tell me what I want to know.
