Mike, Have already solved that, I have a couple early dodge hemi engines, 270 cid, a taller 325 block and a couple of hemi heads and some poly heads spare too. All the engines are in fairly good shape, and it is not impossible to get some 331/354 here. I know a couple fellas here who owns them. Have some trannies for them too, auto and manual. To balance, I have an almost endless surplus of chevy V8 engines, I work on boats and they arrive here regularly. And a bunch of fellows want them real hard, so no big deal. What is quite hard and expensive to find here: Bigblock Mopars, 426 Hemis, early Mk4 big chevy engines, nailheads, 348/409 W engines and so on. Big Olds and pontiac anegines are quite rare too. Big block chevys, newer versions, Gen % and Gen 6 are quite common and not expensive. 350's are easy too. []'s AG 2009/11/10 Mike LAlouette <speedicusmaximus@ yahoo.co. uk> Alexandre,
Any chance of any early Hemi hiding in there too ? A long shot I know ....!
Good luck with the project, and yes, keep us updated please. Date: Tuesday, 10 November, 2009, 15:53 Mike, Yes, talked to the fellow right now. Will pick it as soon as I can. The best part, most folks here do not care about it. And a miracle, the guy actually is the car owner, has a title, and I can transfer it with no hassle. And the car is in fairly good shape. After I checked out the gasser madness site and subscribed the gasser wars magazine, I feel like assembling myself a gasser. Will wait no more. When I pick it, will post some pics here. []'s AG
2009/11/10 Mike LAlouette <speedicusmaximus@ yahoo.co. uk> Bit late on this reply, but, GO FOR IT !
Drop the original Prefect front panels (wings, bonnet, etc.,) and go for the Anglia ones - they allegedly bolt straight on with zero or little hassle - Neat ride - street or strip ! Mike

To: StockSSDragRacing@ yahoogroups. com Date: Tuesday, 10 November, 2009, 15:04 Bob, One day I was walking down a junkyard and spotted an old willys truck tubular front axle. Could not resist, got it there, no delay, no excuses. Now looking for a car to install it. Someone offered me a 49 prefect, would rather have an Anglia, but guess the old blue prefect will do the job. Got a couple ford engines laying around the garage and anyone of them will do the job. 2009/11/10 Bob Wenzelburger <nhranut@zoominterne t.net> Yes, cool car. Been on him for years to put a straight axle under it, but he just won't listen to me . Kids!!! LOL Bob ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Tuesday, November 10, 2009 6:32 AM Subject: Re: [StockSSDragRacing] last Thompson
