This was taken in the pits at Thompson in 1970..........This was when the big name "Gassers" were running the match race circuit, and severely modifying their bodies for aerodynamics........Notice several inches trimmed from the bottom of the body & fenders...........And the motor raised way up in the chassis...........This would not have been legal in any Nhra or Ahra gas class.
