Hey love your classic rock groups also. My friend Bill who used to own a Le Mans Race Team, Rand Racing hired Loverboy to sing a party for 200 of his closes friends. It was very awesome, Mike Reno let several of us girls get up on stage with him and sing. Plust it was NYE and he came to the after party with us. Much fun was had! Love 80's rock

Just sitting here listening to a couple cd I today. Been picking a few christmas cd's up on ebay.......yeah. .....I know it's early but I like to make various artists cd's for friends and family around christmas time. sort-of like a stocking stuffer but I'll give them out around thanksgiving so if they want to the can listen to it around christmas time.
Giving them out "ON" Christmas wouldn't work ! then they'd hafta wait till next year to listen to them.
Picked up a Lonestar Christmas cd for a penny and 2.99 shipping , good deal! and a mixed artist christmas cd with Elton John , Bon Jovi , Bob Seger , Moody Blues , Emerson, Lake & Palmer , Elvin Bishop , Billy Squire , The Kinks and Chuck Barry......$ 7 with shipping.
I'm a classic Rock-N-Roll nut myself but I've also got my country artists that I like as well.
Classic Rock as in Boston , Foreigner , Styx , Kansas ,AC/DC , REO , Def Leppard and so on , you get the picture..... .Good ol rock n roll.
I prefer rock but I have to compromise with the better half.
George Strait , Brad Paisly , Kenny Chesney and so on.
And even older preformers like George Jones , Randy Travis , Kenny Rogers , Alabama..... ..
Not into pop , RAP , elec-tek or whatever it's called. Or Jazz , never appealed to me ! I do like some Blues like Clapton , Jeff Beck , Stevie Ray & Double Trouble. The Blues Brothers as well !!
Some of Glen Miller and Tommy Dorsey's big band music is good.
But I'll take a bunch of good ol songs and fill up a cd and pass'em out to those that I know will appreciate them.
