just recently bought a 03 Frontier with the four cylinder,auto,se
package,two wheel drive,battery died on me tonite,(we have had a few
cold nights)still has a " Nissan" oem battery in it,appears awfully
small,trying to find the date of manufacture on it,no luck,do you think
this thing could still be running around with the original battery in
it? thanks

Definitely. Modern batteries last much longer than in the old days.

my 2003 Sentra SpecV (2.5L)just had it's Nissan battery die this year.
it looked to be the original.

Absolutely. In 2007, I replaced the original battery in my
1997 Nissan Pulsar (AKA "Almera" and "Sentra" in different parts
of the world).
It still worked. It'd just been cranking slowly on cold
mornings for a couple of years.

I just got a 97 Nissan Altima 2.4.When I rev the engine the tempature
gauge goes back to cold from half way.Any body have a clue as to what
might cause this.Thanks!
