Funny, that's exactly what he said in his interview after the race is that it was that kind of move.

Gordo wasn't in the right on the Kenseth deal. ANY driver, himself included, would've taken that hole he left on the bottom. But to short track his quarter panel.. that was just, "if I can't win, you won't either" sort of move. One he's pulled time and again. He, in fact, did the same thing to his team mate three years ago, without JJ doing that to him.
