Re: [NASCAR-Group] Letarte is a doofus

They definitely blew it. Would have been JG's first win in quite
awhile, and only his second win in two plus years. :(

Either he insists on consistently short-pitting Gordon, usually guaranteeing that he will go a lap down when the caution hits, or--as he did today--runs out of brains with forty laps to go and puts on two tires when everyone else is going for four.

Today, Gordon had the field spotted by seven seconds, but didn't like the idea that the car was loose coming off four. Letarte's job at this point is to tell Gordon how much faster he is than everyone else, and to adjust to the loose condition. Instead, he changes tire pressures, and for the rest of the race Gordon can't put more than two seconds on the competition.

Meanwhile, Letarte's moronic work seems to guarantee that even if Gordon does get there, Johnson will take it over in a year or so.
