i remember they all started to look "funky" after the small-block rules change...and their hemi's weren't competitive anymore...sour grapes anyone !?!?!?

Most all Mopar ProStock cars of that era had the wheel base altered - some up to 6" --- they moved both wheels forward - and made new wheel wells. I know the Missile was moved 4", and I believe that later Butler built cars (Leal) were move 6" --- for reference look at any of Landy's cars - he was just brazen about it. Also most of the Mopars had the body tapered towards the front like an arrow.

Reid Whisnant's photo in the 1970's Pro Stock album sure looks like it has a LOT of overhang in the rear. I know it would not have passed tech with an altered wheelbase, but it does look odd.
