I have attached some photos from a kids book about drag racing. The cover shows the Boggs brothers Funny car that was formerly owned by Ron Ellis. I owned this body for about a dozen years, and it is now completely restored in NY.
Inside the book there are a number of pictures of cars from the various classes, from funny cars to dragsters to Stockers. Here are some pics-the first shows the Drag-On Lady AMX. In 1970 AMC sent a number of body parts to change the looks of the car from 1969 to the newly styled 1970. The NHRA would not allow it so the driver's had to change back to 69 trim. As you can see the hood and front fender extensions are primer because they replaced the 70 stuff and were not painted when this picture was taken.
