That tube probably originates in the heater box behind the glove box.
Get a bucket ready and pull the tube from the box. You'll probably find
the box has water in it.
The cause could be that the drain tube is blocked by debris that gets
into the system through the air intake vents on the cowl in front of the
windshield.
Make sure the tube is cleared before putting it back. I had the same
problem in my PU and that was the cause.

I dont think that tube does originate from the heaterbox. Only
because I have run the ac/and defrost and a puddle has formed under
the car normally.

Do you want to retract this statement then?
"I ran the ac and then the defroster for a while, but no water came out
of the tube".

no i do not want to retract that statement because no water came out
of the tube that is inside the car. it is this tube that is located
inside the car directly behind the wheel well that is putting out
water. it only puts out water when it rains. it does not put out
water with the ac. so im thinking that it is some sort of drain for
rain water, possibly starting where the wipers are.
sorry about the previouse post, im trying to write this one a cell
phone, and its kinda hard.

Is it corrugated about 20mm?
It's a fan motor cooling air hose. Connects from fan outlet and passes
air to a cap on bottom of motor. Shouldn't have water in it unless fan
is full of water too and then it wouldn't run. I did find a lot of
finely chopped chaff in my fan motor.

Plain small bore?
Sunroof drain, should come down A-plillar and pass out under car
though hole in inner sill. There will be 4 drain tubes one from each
corner of sunroof, front ones go down A-pillar, rear ones go down rear
pillars.
