I agree. Brad's car did get airborne a bit easier because of the wing. However, Edwards' comment about he 'didn't expect for that to happen" is a flat out lie in my opinion. He knows first hand that these cars lift in a rear slide, and I personally believe he intended for that to happen. On his facebook, Carl said that 'his code could not allow that one to go', to paraphrase. Jo, watch that video again of Carl coming down. Kes was on the yellow line. If you observe how fast the 71 car gains on the 12, you can see that Kes lifted, and to take it further, Carl's spotter had to have told him there was a 'car low'. Carl just fully expected to be clear of Keslowski, and wrecked himself off the front of the 12 car. The reason he just 'couldn't let this one go' in my opinion is because he knows he screwed up, and wasn't about to let others view it that way, per say. They are locked in a battle on the Nationwide circuit, and I believe that Carl was using that to
send a message on that side as well. I personally believe that with the 'tap on the wrist' that Nascar gave in this situation, they are so desperate to get the ratings back, they are brewing and stewing the controversy thing. Same reason they won't allow the cars to go 205 mph. A 190 mph, 188 parade lap race can, and almost always induces the 'big one', and sadly, that's what most people are waiting to see happen. They say it's for safety, but look at the current generation of car. Twice in as many years, they have gotten above the barrier, and into the fence.

Subject: [NASCAR-Group] Carl on Probation
Will the decision has been made Carl is on probation for 3 races which I think is basically a good move for everyone. I know alot will think I am wrong, but if you get right down to the nitty gritty of the situation Brad's Car flipped because of the wing if he had a spoiler most likely the car would not have flipped.
Nascar needs to go back to spoilers before Bristol in 2 weeks.
Seeing as this weekend is a of weekend for nascar everyone will have 2 weeks to cool down before they race again.
