Re: [NASCAR-Group] New poll for NASCAR-Group

I have an even better question... Keslowski and his hard charging or aggressiveness notwithstanding, who is going to put Edwards in a wall, knowing he can't retaliate for at least three races? A friend of mine close to the garage area says that the talk hasn't been about Kes or Edwards per say, but more along the lines of "message received" and that they now know that without worrying about points deductions, they can police themselves more aggressively. That being said, how many will Kyle, Kes, Hamlin, Edwards, and Stewart end up wrecking this season? Jeff Gordon said, "This sport needs rivalries.. " and by golly, Nascar is giving it to them.

However, I still question the bias on which this is based. After all, they relaxed the 'templates' for Prism motorsports to get into a race this year, but gave Carl Long a death penalty over .017 inches of engine. 200 driver/owner points... 200,000 dollars. They tried to kill Robby Gordon motorsports over a small case 'a' in 2008 Daytona. But they relax the rules so that Prism can get into the race. They took the gloves off, and are letting the drivers settle it themselves, and that's fine. But the evidence here is this.. not many of them know how to do it without taking out other cars, or causing a melee. Carl Edwards bumped Kes in the tri oval area, instead of the backstretch. He knows that is the fastest part of the track. He knew there would be hard impact. Other cars also paid a price for this incident as well.. (mark martin reference here).

If anyone is looking to dump Kes, it's going to be the Toy Boys of JGR. Side note: Kurt has no problem banging fenders with his brother. So, this could get very interesting, just like Nascar wants it to. Ratings being what they are and all.

JMO..

Thanks, and go ahead and add the option "No one because Brad is a bad, bad
man." :-)
