Back in the early 1960's the Wheatley Brothers had one of those. I can still remember the day Jay told me they were going to have it painted like a tennis shoe. They took it to a dope smoking artist in Baltimore and a few weeks later they had the "PF Flyer". It was painted like the old high top sneakers with laces up the hood and the round PF logo on the side. It was different!
