what I wuz thinking too...there were also custom tailights made back then that were similar to those in the pic...try this link for a sample of what I mean...

  I'm guessing Merc. Tail lights on the Fords were round, and side trim was different.

Picture is from Lebanon Valley '66. The digger is called Wild Thing but I'm trying to figure out what the gasser-looking car is behind it. It's got to be a Fomoco product but I'm not sure on the taillights or side trim. Looks cool as hell though. I bet Ed has this one covered.  -Jack
