RE: [StockSSDragRacing] Roy Hill-2

 

I did read an article in an IHRA paper(that I will never find), that said Roy Hill bought 2 different brand of Pro Stocks he would be racing for the year. I'll keep looking.  Dell

I just looked at Mel's email and he thought it might be 78. Didn't know Kasse built motors for Musi. Looks like small block Chevy in the Camaro. The car looks familiar but I can't place it - where's Dell he would know. It's funny we all look at the cars in the background! lol! CB, Mel is a Ford man too! He told me he used to race a 428 Cougar and has a couple of Fairlanes now!

I'm gonna go on a limb here. Petty's switched Chevrolet's in the late-70's/early- 80's, this car has Red/White/Blue paint and the number is 243??? I'd say this was definitely between the Horizon/Omni and the Ford's.

looks like rockingham to me...i see Robert Imbody's Mustang Convertible behind the Camaro...pic reminds me Kaase knows Musi well, beginning from the era those pic are from...he built engine for Hill for a while too...

Here is another pic of Roy Hill's Camaro courtesy of Melvin . Doesn't look like Pat Musi on the Monza but it does appear to be painted very similar.
