Highlighting the complete 2010 schedule is a commitment to consistent broadcast times for Sunday's race day action with 17 of the 23 events scheduled in the coveted Sunday night prime-time slot on ESPN2. Once again, the most prestigious drag racing event in the world, the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, will feature more than 10 hours of wall-to-wall coverage beginning with qualifying on Sunday, Sept. 5 and concluding with a five-hour broadcast on Monday afternoon, Sept. 6 from 1 - 6 p.m.

Bob Glidden, with 85 NHRA Pro Stock victories to his credit, third on the all time list, learned the hard way the importance of being in the right spot after a win.
When up and coming nitro Funny Car racer Kenny Bernstein won his first NHRA event at the 1979 NHRA Cajun Nationals Glidden deftly showed off those post-race skills. During the post race photo session, Glidden insisted he and Bernstein switch places during the obligatory Winner's Circle shots which traditionally were destined for the cover of National Dragster. | | TROXEL GETS BACK INTO THE NITRO GROOVE 
It's been sixteen months since Melanie Troxel strapped into a Funny Car and it's not like riding a bicycle - you don't just jump on and ride.
"Oh it's a little a nerve wracking going out there after that long kind of like starting over," Troxel said, adding, "especially after spending you know the last six months driving a different type of car."
