Still following up leads on the AMXs. I talked to Ezra Beachy from Kokomo Ind yesterday for awhile. He ran the Ray-Wel/Beachy Bros AMX with his brother John from 69 to 72. Also during this time he raced a 70 Olds. Had a lot of great stories to tell about the cars, and how amazed he is with today's cars, and a little jealous what is allowed. He sure wishes he could have had some liberties to change stuff on his car!
The location of the car is not known at this time. Some people here on the forum (and off) have told me Jerome Pratt bought it and raced it. Ezra said the car went to Ohio but he thought it was wrecked. Pratt entered the 75 Nationals from Ohio, Beachy sold it after the 72 season. Does anyone have any contact info for Jerome "Jerry" Pratt? I would love to talk to him about his car.
FYI-I bought the domain name "superstockamx" and have a page linking it to all the compiled info. It should be easier to find if anyone is interested. I have someone who is going to develop a professional looking site soon.
