Hi Tom, that wouldn't have been too much fun. That 302 is another engine NHRA just seemed to go overboard on factoring it up.
And the Pontiacs always seemed to run so much better in Stk trim than SS. I recall the Rocky's Goat car running faster as an ESA than lots of cars in SSHA at the time which would have been his class had he raced SS. Even the flat hooded 428 Mustangs. I can't recall any GTO's in SS then? Mike
