The long wait for the first Toyota hatchback in the country is
finished as prospective buyers will be able to drive out their Etios
Livas out of Toyota showrooms. One of the most anticipated hatchbacks
of 2011.
Are you willing to see it's performance and What do you think, will it
fulfill demands of customers?

The winner of the 4 wheel 4 passenger
high fuel efficiency Automotive x-prize was
the Edison VLC which got over 100 mpg.
The Edison VLC power plant relied on a 50cc
japanese gasoline engine originally designed
for a scooter. Inorder to get over 100 mpg
the Edison VLC was made extremely light
weight, very aerodynamic, and its tires
have very low rolling resistance. If gasoline
siupply becomes unreliable or too expensive
then electric cars would likely be desirable
It is likely that cost and reliable access to energy
will the most signficant factors driving people to
use BEVs. If the electric power grid become
unstable and unreliable it will negatively impact
the adoption of BEVs. It is likely that the cost
of oil will go up because we will have to drill
deeper and deeper to get to it. It will not be the
most powerful batteries that eventually be
adopted by the BEV market but the most
affordable and reliable batteries with the
adequate power levels.
