The Best Car Ad You’ll See Today: Volkswagen Tiguan Translator

We've seen more car-related ads trying to capture our attention than we can remember, but very few actually manage to pull it off like the way the Brazilian division of the BBDO advertising agency did with its "Volkswagen Tiguan: Translator" commercial.

The TV ad was created to show off the SUV's hands free park assist system. Being that the whole point of this commercial is the element of surprise, we won't spoil the ending by telling you what happens. Enjoy the clip after the break,

GM Agrees to Pay Korean Workers a Record Bonus of $6,140 Each and Increase Basic Salaries by 4.7%!

The South Korean division of General Motors has agreed to a record bonus payment for its employees following a partial strike last week. This was the first organized union strike to hit GM Korea in three years and it led to a production loss of 9,700 units.

The agreement between GM Korea and the union includes a raise of basic salaries by 4.7% and, more importantly, a $6,140 (6.5 million won) bonus to each worker.

Say want you want about the media's obsession around Britain's newly-wed royal coupe, Kate and Williams, but for some people, like Sonny Brazil, it's a gift from the heavens.

You see, Sonny's father Al, bought Kate Middleton's inky-blue 2001 VW Golf hatchback back in 2009 from her brother James for a reasonable £1,400 (about US$2,300 or €1,600 at today's exchange rates).

BMW Marks Returns to DTM with New M3 Coupe Concept Racer

New DTM racing cars are like public transportation: you wait for ages and then , all of a sudden, three or four buses appear at the same time. Just yesterday we posted Audi's new entry into the German Touring Car Championship or, as it's more commonly known, DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters). Today, BMW pulled the wraps off its new own DTM racer based on the coupe version of M3.

And mind you, unlike Audi, BMW revealed the M3 in the flesh clad in carbon fiber and looking quite menacing with its matte paint, flared wheel arches and aerodynamic package.
