I don't think he's gonna use a liberty (pro stock) type trans, more like a jericho trans.......but they work the same....use the clutch to leave and shift without it.....I thought clutchless trans were illegal for S/S.....

The Clutchless trans is what the Pro Stock guys are using. You have to use the clutch to leave the line and then just shift each gear under power and when you let off of the go pedal the trans disengages and the shifter goes back to neutral. Dell

Bob, It doesn't sound like it there does it? I also heard that he was already running a clutchless trans. Just Rumors, I don't know if NHRA has checked that. Anyway they sure are flying and it is unreal. Dell

After reading the statement below from Jr, it doesn't sound like he wants the cars factored seperately.

8.273 Jim Daniels at the Dutch 159.72 mph Yes Jim just blew the et away. His 60ft was 1.22 with his rear wheels . Nitro Joe said it would go a 8.275 so Nitros prediction was real close
