Posted: 09 Sep 2011 02:30 PM PDT

Back in August, Ford revealed to us that when the doors open to the 64th IAA International Motor Show on September 13, it will be ready to exhibit four world premieres.

Since then, the Detroit-based automaker has told us about the EVOS sport concept and final production version of the performance Focus ST with 250-ponies, so if you do the simple math, there are two more cars left.

We're still working on the last one but we learned that the third world premiere will be the performance Fiesta ST, thinly disguised as a concept study.

Posted: 09 Sep 2011 01:07 PM PDT

The limited edition Fiat 500 by Gucci made its way to New York city and Gucci's fashion store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

Appropriately, the two Italian brands brought over fashionistas, tastemakers and catwalk models including a couple of ladies that were disturbingly anorexic skinny (like the one pictured on your right), to create some fuss around the Fiat 500 trimmed by Gucci.

"In the '50s, the Fiat 500 created a style revolution when it first hit the road. It quickly became the must-have car of its time," said Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini.

The Spaniard, complete with all the necessary marketing decals strategically positioned on his clothing (really, do these guys ever go out without looking like a walking billboard?) took the roofless supercar for a spin out in Italy.

You can watch him driving the 458 Spider for yourself in the video after the break.

However, all we get is a boxer and a couple of fuzzy images of an undefined car. Lotus has stated that it will show three new models in Frankfurt, but has only named the Elise S as one of them.

As you can see in the opening photo, courtesy of the crew over from Teamspeed, the pre-show presentation that took place in Maranello earlier this week proved more interesting than we originally thought.

New Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Rated at 580-Horsepower

Posted: 09 Sep 2011 09:16 AM PDT

In a predictably linear fashion, General Motors has uprated the output numbers of one of its new models just before it launches onto the market.

When GM revealed the new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at this year's edition of the Chicago Auto Show in February, the company said the coupe's 6.2-liter supercharged V8 would deliver an estimated 550 horsepower and a massive 550 lb.-ft. of torque (745 Nm).

Fast forward to today, and those numbers have jumped to 580-horsepower and 556 lb.-ft. (754 Nm).

Blimey…Eterniti Motors Hemera Looks Like a Tuned Porsche Cayenne

Posted: 09 Sep 2011 07:25 AM PDT

After all the hype about a "new luxury car brand" that will hand-build "the world's first Super-SUV", the self-proclaimed "independent, boutique British luxury carmaker, uniquely based in London", which we will come to know as Eterniti Motors, has lifted the covers off something that looks like/is a heavily tuned second-generation Porsche Cayenne ahead of its Frankfurt show debut.

While the British company does not specifically refer to the Porsche model, it has previously stated that the Hemera "is based on the latest generation of the best large SUV platform available, which will undergo a chassis-up rebuild, with a new, repackaged interior, carbon-composite body panels and additional performance".

IAA 2011: Maserati SUV Photo Leaked or Photoshopped?

Posted: 09 Sep 2011 07:07 AM PDT

Here at Carscoop we are no strangers to purportedly leaked images that turn out to be photoshops so unless we have solid evidence to back up its authenticity, we treat these photos with skepticism.

The above picture of a Maserati SUV appeared in a pocket book catalogue for the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show made by/for Automotive News Europe, and it was quickly picked up by many news sites.

However, aside from the fact that the crossover model depicted here has one too many common design features with the BMW X6, we're under the impression that the same photo (the one on your right hand) appeared in an Italian magazine – the August issue of Quattroruote if we're not mistaken (maybe our Italian readers can help us out here).
