My dear friend Dick Towers passed away yesterday afternoon - To me, he
will always be considered the grandfather of Drag Race Preservation.
Dick amassed an amazing amount of important pictures, rare parts and
cars and documentation paperwork that has helped so many people.
From relatives or friends looking for for pics/info of their racing
family members to restorations of famous and not-so-famous race cars
and rare Lincolns - and the list could go on and on.
Dick Towers was a true friend to our sport and its history - We'll miss
you !
