If you're looking to buy a GPS, *AVOID* the TomTom One. It's
worthless. This has got to be the most retarded worthless piece of
electronic garbage I have ever used, (or tried to use). This thing is
so bad that it took me 70 miles away from my destination and
instructed me to follow a road that ended up in someone's private
cattle pasture. In rural areas, it insists on taking the worst dirt
roads that exist, and there is no way to change this setting. I paid
nearly $100 for this piece of trash, and after only a little over a
month of fighting with the worthless thing, I gave it to a friend abd
asked him to see if he could make it work. A week later, he handed it
back to me and told me to return it. I tried, but it was beyond the
return policy. I sold it at the neighbor's garage sale for $8. I was
glad to be rid of it, in fact if it had not sold at their sale, it
would have gone in the garbage (where it belonged before I paid good
money for it).
This thing is so retarded, that when I come down my own driveway it
tells me to turn around, even though I had my actual address listed as
"Home".
My *NEW* "Gps" cost me just over the $8 I got from the garage sale.
It's called a Road Atlas. Far more accurate, and easier to use.
