Report: Honda Threatened by the Rise of the Koreans

Posted: 08 Aug 2011 07:44 PM PDT

If there is one Japanese company that can lay claim to having a reputation for innovation and advanced engineering, it is Honda.

It is a reputation built over more than 30 years, starting from the first generation of the Civic in the '70s and continuing throughout the years with novelties such as VTEC, the futuristic first generation Insight hybrid back in 1999, the S2000's high-revving 120HP-per-liter engine, the first practical supercar, the NSX – and the list goes on.

However, something seems to have changed, and not for the better.

DIY Video: How to get Even with Your Other Half

Posted: 08 Aug 2011 06:32 PM PDT

We have no way of knowing if the protagonist of the video you're about to enjoy after the break had some scores to settle with his other half (be that his wife or girlfriend), or if he simply had his moment of Zen, but if it's the former, we can guarantee its success.

All joking aside, we'll assume that there's a large entrance located somewhere behind the man filming the driver in the Cobra roadster leaving his mark on the wooden floors – well, that or he built the car from a kit inside the room in which case we'd support the "moment of Zen" theory. Either way, watch the video after the break.

Seems like increasing the average mpg and reducing CO2 emissions for car manufacturers isn't the only thing US President Barack Obama is occupied with when it comes to automobiles. The president is also worried about the car that his oldest daughter, Malia, will drive once she gets her license
