All-New 2012 BMW 3-Series Sedan Spied Completely Undisguised?

These low-resolution photos allegedly picturing a completely undisguised 2012 BMW 3-Series sedan made their way on the F30Post forums over the weekend.

While not entirely sure, they do seem to be derived from some sort of promotional material - be that a video or a scanned brochure. In any case, they do look to be in line with what we've seen up until now in our spy shots.

Not surprisingly, the design of the next generation 2012 3-Series sedan appears to follow an evolutionary path blending the shape of the current model with styling elements from the new BMWs and especially the latest 5-Series.

Bling from the Past: 1979 Cadillac Seville by Gucci

Occasionally, automakers take a more imaginative (or desperate, take your pick) approach with their marketing tactics, often turning to companies in completely different niches to spice up their cars and create what they call special edition models.

One of the more recent examples is the Fiat Group, which earlier this month, rolled out the second edition of its 500 by Gucci series based on the faux-convertible version of the city car featuring a simple folding fabric roof.

But this isn't the first time that Gucci has joined forces with the auto industry. Back in the late 1970s, the famous high-end Italian fashion and leather goods label collaborated with GM's Cadillac division to create the Seville by Gucci special edition.

Rumors: VW Gets Serious About Producing the Bulli as a Microbus Successor

VW management is "very seriously" considering a plan to put the Bulli concept MPV into production according to media reports. The Bulli was launched at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show as a study about a modern, eco-friendly replacement of the iconic Microbus of the '60s.

Initially there was no intention to produce the Bulli, but the public's positive reaction to the concept study has made VW reconsider.
