Video: Asian Car and Motorcycle Accidents Compilation

As most motorists are already aware of, there are many ways to get into an accident, be it your fault or another driver's error.

In the video after the jump, a Youtube user compiled a 7-minute-long clip with all sorts and types of automobile and motorcycle related incidents that allegedly took place in numerous countries of Asia (though understandably, there's no way of ratifying this claim for each and every crashe seen in the clip).

Germany's Luxury Brands Unaffected by Global Economy Slump

The auto industry hasn't escaped the drama affecting the stock markets due to the US credit rating downgrade and the problems in the Eurozone. This month has been the worst ever since November 2008 for the Euro Stoxx Automobile and Parts Index as it lost €35 billion ($50 billion) or about 19%, of its value.

However, despite the slowing global economy, it is luxury carmakers like BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi rather than mass-market brands, like Fiat and Renault, that can withstand its effects better.

2013 Range Rover Spied Out in the Open wearing New Body

An all-new model will soon replace one of the oldest but undeniably, still one of the best-looking and most capable vehicles in the premium SUV segment, the Range Rover.

The upcoming Range Rover will be the fourth generation model following the original that was produced from 1970 to 1996, the second iteration that lasted from 1994 to 2001, and the current version that has been in production since 2002.

While the current model has the unique distinction of being developed by three different companies as it was planned and designed under the leadership of the BMW Group, updated by Ford when the latter bought Land Rover, and revised when the British company landed in the hands of India's Tata Motors, the fourth-gen Range Rover will be the work of Tata.

Top Gear: Former Employee Claims Pro Drivers do Clarkson’s Stunts, BBC Rejects Allegations

Some say it is the world's most famous car show, with millions of viewers worldwide and that, despite having three presenters, plus the man in white known as The Stig, 51-year old Jeremy Clarkson is the undisputed star of the show. All we know is that it's called Top Gear and it has run on BBC for 17 seasons so far.

And as one of the most popular and long-running TV shows in the world, Top Gear and Jeremy Clarkson often make headlines, but not for the reasons one would expect.

Now, British tabloid Daily Mail has put up a story claiming that Clarkson's stunts are not always performed by him, but by professional racing drivers. The newspaper cites two unnamed sources, one of which is said to have worked for Top Gear for more than five years.

GM Wants to Become the “Apple” of the Automotive Industry

Now here's an ambitious claim: at General Motor's second annual Global Business Conference, the Detroit firm's Global Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanick said he wants to transform the company into the "the next Apple".

Senner Tuning Lays its Hands on the Audi Q5 2.0 TDI

Continuing its assault on Audi's portfolio, German aftermarket specialist has introduced a new package for the Q5 SUV fitted with the 2.0-lited TDI turbo diesel engine.

Thanks to a new performance kit that includes an ECU upgrade, sport filters and a custom exhaust system, the four-cylinder diesel engine's output is lifted from 170-horses and 350Nm to 213HP and 445Nm (328.2 lb-ft).

Rumors: Fiat to Expand 500 Range with New Models Including Crossover

Banking on the success of its new 500 hatch, Fiat plans to enhance the small car's range with a variety of new models within the next two years according to Autoweek.

The first new addition to arrive in North America is the Abarth, the sportiest version of Fiat's city car that's already available in Europe. The Abarth 500 is powered by a highly-tuned 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder delivering 180HP and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque.

Kia Launches New Three-Door Picanto in Britain

For the first time since the Kia Picanto was introduced into the market in 2004, the Korean city car is available with a three-door body style.

Revealed alongside the second generation of the five-door model at the Geneva Salon this past March, the three-door Picanto will go on sale in the UK from the 1st of September with prices starting from £7,795 for the base 1.0 '1' and rising to £12,295 for the 1.25 'Halo' with an automatic transmission.
