Following the Genesis Coupe's presentation at the Korea Speed Festival 2011 in Yeongam, Korea, on Saturday, November 12, Hyundai released preliminary details on its refreshed sports car. While our intel on the replacement of the Lambda 3.8-liter MPi with Hyundai's newer Lambda 3.8-liter GDi was correct, instead of producing 333 horsepower and a peak torque of 291 lb.-ft as it does on the revised Genesis sedan, the V6 engine with direct-injection technology was further honed and puts out 350-horses and 40.8kg.m (295 lb-ft or 400Nm).
