New Official Photos Plus KDM Brochure of 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

The news just keeps dropping in on the revamped 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe after its first public appearance during the Korea Speed Festival 2011 in Yeongam, South Korea, this past weekend.

Today, we got our hands on a fresh batch of official photos plus the Korean domestic market [KDM] brochure that provides us with a few more details on the rear-wheel drive coupe's specifications, namely the acceleration figures and fuel economy numbers.

The flagship Genesis Coupe with the 350PS (345HP) 3.8-liter V6 engine completes the 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint in 5.9 seconds while returning a combined fuel efficiency (in the Korean driving cycle) of 9.6km/lt (22.6mpg US or 10.4lt/100km) with CO2 emissions of 227g/km.

Report: Manual-Gearbox Supercars are Going the Way of the Dodo

Aside from the Prancing Horse emblem, the clearly defined open-gate gearbox with the chromed lever sprouting from within was Ferrari's second best distinguishable characteristic.

With the introduction of the 2012 MY California, this tradition comes to an end, at least in the UK. From now on, Ferrari is offering its British customers only one choice in the transmission department: that of an automatic.

SPIED: Is Ferrari Working on a Hotter California Model, Possibly a GTO Variant?

Ferrari's engineers have been working overtime in the past year as the Italian company has several new or updated models in the pipeline, including a replacement for the 599 GTB Fiorano that we scooped last week, a new flagship Enzo model and a mild facelift for the California.

And if these fresh spy shots are anything to go by, Ferrari may also be readying a new addition to its California hardtop-roadster family.

As reported previously, the 2012 California that is expected early next year will be updated from within featuring a more powerful 4.3-liter V8 with around 490-horses, a faster transmission and a lighter chassis with upgraded suspension bits.

Feds Investigate Transmission Cable Problems in at Least Three GM Models

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration [NHTSA] said on Monday that it is widening a preliminary investigation that began with 23 complaints about the Saturn Aura sedan from the 2007 and 2008 model years, over a transmission cable issue that may deteriorate over time and fail. If this happens, the shift lever position may not match the car's actual gear.

The safety agency said it is also looking to see if the same problem exists in at least two more GM models equipped with similar cable installations used on four-speed automatic transmissions, the 2004-2008MY Chevrolet Malibu and 2005-2008MY Pontiac G6.

Audi Introduces Two New Special Edition Versions and a 143PS Diesel to the A1's UK Range

Audi is adding two new models, the Black Edition and the Contrast Edition, plus a more powerful 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that complements the existing 1.6-litre TDI unit to the British lineup of its A1 premium supermini.

The first new specification is the A1 Black Edition that is offered exclusively with 185PS 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine or the newly introduced 143PS 2.0-litre TDI.

New 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid Goes on Sale in the States with Prices Starting from $25,900

The most fuel-efficient version of the new Toyota Camry series, the Hybrid, has arrived at the firm's U.S. dealerships.

The 2012 Camry Hybrid is available in two trim levels, the LE that starts at $25,900, which is a $1,150 decrease from the 2011 model, and the XLE, priced from $27,400, which represents an $800 decrease from a similarly equipped 2011 model, always according to Toyota.

North American-Spec 2013 Chevrolet Spark City Car Debut at the LA Show

Even though it has been available in other regions including Europe and Asia since 2009, Chevrolet's latest city car, the Spark, will make its North American debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 16.

The five-door, four-seat subcompact hatchback will be available in the U.S. and Canada with a single engine option, a 1.2-liter four-cylinder with an output of 85HP that turns the front wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox or, optionally, a four-speed automatic transmission.

DP Motorsports Redoes a 1973 Porsche 911 in Carbon Fiber

There are tuning jobs and there are tuning jobs. Whereas some companies sprinkle a few accessories on their cars and call it a day, other tuners like DP Motorsports go the whole nine yards creating truly unique projects.

The German firm's newest creation is a very special 1973 Porsche 911 (G-Model) that has been transformed in every possible way. The highlight of the tune is the carbon fiber dp11 RS 2011 costume manufactured from carbon fiber, which includes the roof, bumpers, hood, doors, rocker panels front and rear fenders and the rear spoiler - in other words, every exterior body panel.

And that's not all. The weight saving measures also include the use of a green heated windscreen, a set of green-toned Plexiglas windows, as well as lightweight headlamp and tail light lenses, plus an air conditioning cover and underbody protection made from carbon fiber.

2013 Ford Mustang Teaser Photos Prematurely Leaked Online

An updated Mustang is in the works and its most likely heading to the west coast for the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Ford wanted to create some buzz around the upcoming debut so the company decided to launch a Facebook page/app through which it would slowly reveal four pictures for every 5,000 "Likes" it received.

At least that was the initial idea, because the fan boys over at Mustangevolution managed to get their hands on a clear version of the teaser shot providing us with a sneak peek of some of the changes that stand out on the 2013MY Ford Mustang.

Land Rover Brings Thinly Updated DC100 Concepts to LA Auto Show to Gauge Reaction

Land Rover would like to know if there is an appetite for the next generation of the Defender that is being previewed by a pair of new concept models.

To that end, the British automaker will bring both its DC100 hardtop and DC100 Sport convertible 4x4 studies to this week's Los Angeles Auto Show to gauge customer reaction and explore the possibility of bringing the Defender back to the US market.

"Our intention is to introduce the all new Defender in the middle of the decade - there's a lot of work to do to meet these dates and our concepts are just the start of the journey," says John Edwards, Land Rover Global Brand Director. "We are here in LA to showcase our DC100 and DC100 Sport concepts and start to actively explore the possibility of bringing the future Defender to North America."

Mercedes-Benz Unwraps New 2012 ML 63 AMG Prior to its LA Auto Show Debut

In 1999, Mercedes-Benz presented its first ever AMG-honed ML SUV, the 342-horsepower ML55 AMG. Some 12 years and 24,000 worldwide sales later, the German brand has readied the third generation of the series that we will come to know as the 2012 ML63 AMG and which will make its world debut at this week's at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.

At the heart of AMG's latest creation lies the firm's new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine that is rated (in North American specification) at 518-horsepower and 516 lb-ft (700Nm), representing an increase of 15HP and 44 lb-ft over its predecessor.

Formula 1: Abu Dhabi Race Results

Viewers of the penultimate race of the 2011 Formula 1 season were treated to a one-of-a-kind spectacle. And no, it's not that Sebastian Vettel didn't make it to the top spot of the podium, as this has already happened four more times this year.

The novelty in Abu Dabhi wasn't even the fact that the world champion, who up to this point had finished no lower than fourth in any race, didn't score a single point.
